Need a little extra help? These therapists* are familiar with the Power of Two skills for building strong & loving marriages. For many couples, in addition to learning the Power of Two skills in a workshop, they also need some extra help applying the skills to their own particular relationship issues.

Dr. Heitler specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and marriage difficulties. In her clinical practice in Denver, Colorado, Dr. Heitler has been helping individuals and couples for over thirty years. She is the author of The Power of Two and a book on treatment theory for therapists, From Conflict to Resolution. Dr. Heitler graduated from Harvard, earned a masters degree in education at Boston University and then a doctorate in psychology from New York University.

Abigail Hirsch, PhD

Dr. Hirsch specializes in working with couples, with a particular expertise working with couples balancing the complexities of children. She helped to design the original Power of Two workshops, co-authored the Power of Two Workbook, and has been instrumental in the development of PO2's live-online courses. Dr. Hirsch holds a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Studies of Social Policy from Harvard University, an M.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

Rae Sandler Simon, Psy.D.

Dr. Simon works with late adolescent and adult individuals and couples. Her philosophy is to help her clients live their best life through improving their relationships and self-reflection. She works with couples through pre-marital, conflict resolution, intimacy and sexual dysfunction, and communication issues. Dr. Simon teaches in-person Power of Two Marriage Skills Workshops in Denver, CO. Dr. Simon has been a practicing individual and couples' therapist since 2002. She holds both a Master's degree (M.A.) and a Doctorate degree (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology.

Heather Wedgle, Psy.D.

Dr. Heather Wedgle works with adults, couples, and children. She believes that the Power of Two skills are the foundation of a good relationship. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology. She enjoys baking, reading, hiking and spending time with her husband and two children.

* The Power of Two provides technical support for therapists to independently conduct online therapy sessions in the Power of Two classroom environment. The Power of Two retains a small percentage fee for its marketing and technical support services and does not employ these therapists.
